REUNION WEEKEND WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

Family Day Crawfish Boil
Over 350 hundred people came back to campus on Saturday March 15 for the 3rd Annual Family Day Crawfish Boil. Alumni of all ages brought their parents, children and grandchildren with them to share in the festivities. The Greenies ate crawfish and snowballs while they chatted with old classmates and their favorite teachers. Kids enjoyed playing on the playground, jumping on the spacewalk, and getting their faces painted. Special thanks to Annie Sarpy Phillips ’91 and David Bendana ’84 for co-chairing this great event.

Anniversary Club Luncheon
On Friday, March 14 Newman held the annual Anniversary Club Luncheon. The luncheon honors alumni who are celebrating reunions of 50 years or more. Members from the class of 1958, the newest inductees of the Anniversary Club, joined members of the classes of 1953, 1948, 1943, 1938 and even Shonette Meyer Kahn from the class of 1928! The alumni who returned to Newman enjoyed a tour of the campus, an exhibit from the archives and remarks from Head of School T.J. Locke.

Individual Class Parties
Reunion weekend was not only filled with events on campus, but many classes held individual events. The classes of 1993, 1988, 1983, 1978, 1973, 1968, 1963, 1958, and 1948 all held events during the weekend.
