  • Bernard Hirsch Herman Memorial Lecture: Karisma Price

    Now in its 16th year, The Bernard Hirsch Herman Memorial Lecture honors a thirteen-year Greenie and distinguished member of the Class of 2004 who had a love of writing and profound regard for the human experience. We were thrilled to welcome this year’s Bernard Hirsch Herman Lecture Honoree, poet Karisma Price, to the Henson Auditorium.

  • Warren G. Moses History Lecture | Clayton Paul Hilliard

    In 1997, in honor of their father’s 80th birthday, Mr. Moses’s sons made a gift to Newman to establish an annual lecture on World War II. Each year, a speaker with significant insight into World War II addresses the Newman community. We were honored to be able to invite World War II veteran, philanthropist, corporate executive, and lifelong learner Clayton Paul Hilliard to campus for the 25th annual Warren G. Moses History Lecture. Mr. Hilliard was joined by the Director of Conferences and Symposia at the National World War II Museum, Jeremy Collins.
