Free Library Apps and Other Resources

R. Hibbert
As we move from on-campus learning to distance learning, our children – especially younger ones – will be looking for activities to keep them busy and engaged. This is the first collection of many resources that we hope will help satisfy our students’ curiosity and alleviate boredom. Below you will find a collection of virtual library resources offering eBooks, music, movies, and more.

Many of these services use an app that links with your public library card. Once logged in, you may “borrow” media from the library system. Other resources, such as OpenLibrary and the Gutenberg Project, offer free media in the public domain, and do not require a library card. Please feel free to explore these resources and let us know what you think. Based on your feedback, we may curate this list to provide the best resources for families.
