Summer Gators for Green Trees Children

About the Program
Summer Gators is an opportunity for your child to engage in enriching learning and growing experiences in June and July.

Green Trees Faculty work alongside carefully selected college students, graduate students, and professionals to supervise each age group and oversee every activity.  

All staff are trained on camper safety and facilitating age-appropriate activities within a structured camp day that allows time for indoor and outdoor play and rest.

Dates
  • Session One: June 8 – 26
  • Session Two: July 6 – 24
*Campus will be closed on Friday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.

Times
  • 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
  • Before Care begins at 7:30 a.m.
  • After Care ends at 5:30 p.m.

Lunch & Snack 
Lunch and Snack will be provided by SAGE Dining for all campers. We will contact all families of children with allergies to ensure we provide safe meals at camp.


Registration
  • Online registration opens Tuesday, January 27 at 10:00 a.m. and will close on Tuesday, February 3 at 10:00 p.m. 
  • Registration is only available to currently enrolled Green Trees children for the 2025-2026 school year.
    • Children must be at least 8 months of age as of June 8, 2026
  • If your child has older siblings, you will have the opportunity to simultaneously register them for other age-appropriate Newman Summer programs
  • Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.



Oldest Learners

If your child is eligible for a Pre-K program for the 2026-27 school year, you may register them in the rising Pre-K program at Newman Summer Day Camp at the same time. Please note, there is a high demand for this program, and we recommend registering as early as possible.
