The Newman News is one of two Isidore Newman School news magazines intended for alumni, parents, faculty, and friends of the School. Published yearly along with the Annual Report, the Newman News keeps Newman constituents informed about School events throughout the year.
Intended for alumni and friends, the Annual Report is the one of two yearly publications, along with the Newman News. The Annual Report highlights the School's events throughout the year and recognizes the philanthropy of parents, alumni, and friends of the School.
Newman's literary journal, the Pioneer, was first published in 1911. It is the oldest continuously published high school literary journal in Louisiana. When it was first published, it served as newspaper, yearbook, and literary journal and was published nine to twelve times a year. Currently, the Pioneer is published each winter and spring. It contains poetry, memoirs, short stories, photographs, and original artwork from students and faculty. The Pioneer recently merged with the Middle School literary magazine, the Phoenix.
Newman's yearbook, published each spring, honors the people, records the activities, and showcases the special events that occured in the School throughout the year.
The Navigator
The Navigator is the student newspaper, published online by a staff made up entirely of students, at www.greenienews.com.
