  • A Milestone in the Completion of the Science and Technology Center

    Newman held a special all-school assembly to commemorate the construction of the School’s New Science and Technology Center. The students, who have all signed an enormous beam that makes up part of the building’s frame, watched as it was lifted into place on the new structure.   • Students Win Prizes at Environmental Awareness Art and Language Arts Contest

    Several Newman fourth Graders made visual art and written submissions to the Louisiana Environmental Awareness Student Art & Language Arts Contest. The group dominated the Age 8-10 division, earning five 1st-3rd place wins in both written and visual art categories.
  • Commencement of the Class of 2018

    The Class of 2018 began the evening as Newman seniors, and ended it as alumni. We are so proud of all they have accomplished in the classroom, on the stage, in the studio, and on the playing field – and we anticipate greater achievements from them as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
