Green N White Club

Welcome to the Green N White Club

Dear Newman Community,

This is a very exciting time for Newman Athletics and the Green N White Club, which is dedicated to supporting all of Newman's sports teams. It is our hope that our student-athletes in all of our Varsity, JV, and Middle School have the best experience possible in a supportive and encouraging environment. We seek to enhance this experience by providing the best facilities and resources for our student athletes and their coaches.

On behalf of the Green N White Club and as its President for the 2018-19 athletic year, I want to thank you for your generous support and participation. This year, we'll strive to continue the progress we've made since the inception of the club. Last year, the Green N White Club was able to directly support Newman athletes with gifts totaling over $57,000.

This is an important year for our Club. It is our goal to reach out to the Newman community to recruit more volunteers, grow our membership, and strengthen our committees. We can only do this with your support.
We have several fundraisers throughout the year including the annual Newman Night at the Races and the annual Newman Tennis tournament. The Ladies Doubles Tennis Tournament will be on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the Audubon Tennis Courts and chaired by Darbi Philibert and Laurie Azzano.
We have several volunteer opportunities – we are seeking volunteers to help with membership, game day events, team liaisons, communications, and technology. If you are interested in volunteering, please email me (alexsum333@yahoo.com).

We look forward to welcoming you as member of the Green N White Club. The commitment level is up to you, but we would love to have you on board!

Sincerely,

Dr. W. David Sumrall III
2018-19 Green N White Club President
Parent of William ’14, Hutson ’17 and Sarah ’21
The Green N White Club is the first ever booster club dedicated solely to athletics. We are very excited about the benefits the Club will bring to Newman athletics and to all of our student-athletes.

It is our goal to build enthusiasm and support for all of our sports. We want to engage the entire Newman community, working together to forge new athletic traditions.

We look forward to your membership, as well as your support and ideas for helping us accomplish the Club’s mission and purpose.
