All-School Welcome Assembly

This morning we gathered on Lupin Field to kick off the school year with an all-school assembly. After 8th grader Gabbi Polite ’22 led the school in the Pledge of Allegiance, Senior Class President Calder Schmidt ’18 addressed the student body from Pre-K through 12th grade, encouraging them to care for one another and to make the most of their Newman experience. Mr. Smith asked students to remain mindful of our Core Values of honesty, kindness, respect, and responsibility in everything they do.

 

The assembly is the first in what we hope is a long tradition of gathering as a school at the beginning of each year.
