The Reynolds Ryan Art Gallery proudly presented From the Archives, featuring the works of one of Louisiana’s most distinctive visual artists, Francis Pavy, during a Gallery Reception on Thursday, September 4. Known for his bold colors, layered textures, and Southern symbolism, Francis Pavy’s art captures the rhythm and spirit of the American South.
During Pavy's visit to campus he met with students across Newman's Lower, Middle, and Upper School Divisions to share insights into his artistic process. Pavy also spoke to students about his creative evolution as a visual storyteller and how they can grow their own craft.
