Coach Kristi Rigterink will be entering her third year of coaching with Newman Swimming, serving previously as the Assistant Coach for the Varsity Program as well as the Newman Middle School Swimming Coach. Coach Kristi has a long history of swimming competitively, dating back to summer league at age four. Coach Kristi swam on scholarship all four years at the University of Southern California. Coach Kristi earned her master’s degree in Social Work at Tulane University while serving as the Graduate Assistant Swimming coach for the Tulane Women’s Swim team from 2011-2013. Coach Kristi also serves as a Stroke School Instructor, and the Varsity coach for Nu Wave Swim Club. Coach Kristi is looking forward to a great Newman Varsity Swimming Season full of hard work, best times, and fun!
