Newman Boys Swim Team Finishes 2nd in the State, Girls 4th

The Newman boys and girls swim teams had a great night on November 18. The Newman boys swim team took 2nd place in the state meet, and the girls team placed 4th. The teams have been training hard all season, and their performance was proof of their hard work. Please join us in congratulating them for their excellent effort and accomplishment.

The teams headed down to the SPAR Aquatic center in Sulphur, Louisiana for the LSHAA Champion Swim Meet on November 17 and 18. The boys team finished just behind Saint Charles Catholic to take second place, while the girls finished hot on the heels of Episcopal High School taking 4th place, just 9 seconds shy of 3rd.
