Newman Summer Day Camp is Equal Parts Learning and Fun
R. Hibbert
[FULL STORY]
Summer is in full swing at Newman, and for Newman Summer campers, that means one thing: Fun! For these children, the day is transformed into a fun-filled world of creative exploration and just being themselves – even if that means dressing up as a pirate, princess, Spider Man, or Hermione Granger!
The day camp is spilt into four divisions serving different grade levels: Pre-K and Kindergarteners, 1st and 2nd graders, 3rd-6th graders, and 7th-8th graders. Each program is designed to specifically appeal to its age group with activities that appeal to learners, artists, athletes, and kids who love to play. In one day, a child could swim, play board games, create a sculpture, play a jazz tune, take some photos, and explore the tunnels of Cardboard Mountain.
Best of all, there is still room in the second session of Newman Summer Day Camp, which starts on July 11. To explore the possibilities of Newman Summer or to register for classes, visit the website at www.newmansummer.com.
