Newman’s Eclipse-a-Palooza | April 8

It was an exciting day on Newman's campus as students from the Lower, Middle, and Upper School Divisions gathered together on Michael Lupin Field to witness the last eclipse North America will see for twenty years. 

While the eclipse made only a brief appearance between the clouds, there was a plethora of activities for students to be involved in throughout the day. Greenies were split into groups and traveled to different activity stations, including:

- Chalk Art Sun
- UV Monitoring
- Eclipse Observation
- Disco Ball and Pin Hole Viewers
- Measuring Shadows
- Observing Animal Behaviors
- Weather Station
- How Does the Moon Cover the Sun
- Cloud Cover
