Newman Teacher Inducted into the National Speech and Debate Hall of Fame

Newman Mathematics Chair and Debate Coach Greg Malis has been inducted into the National Speech and Debate Association’s Hall of Fame. Each year, the Association (NSDA) names five new inductees, the highest honor the organization bestows on its members. Mr. Malis joins four other coaches from around the country in the Hall of Fame. Each nominee must have 25 years debate coaching experience and be nominated by another coach. Mr. Malis will be honored onstage at the National Speech and Debate Tournament on Thursday, June 21 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
