Harold Rowland brings over 30 years of golf experience to Newman. Inducted in 1997 as a Class A member of the PGA, Harold was golf professional at various golf and country clubs from 1994-2012 and still serves as a PGA member.
Throughout his professional career Harold has served as a golf professional at many different clubs, hotels, and courses throughout the United States. He has worked as the Head Golf Professional at Doral Golf Resort as well as working as the Director of Golf at The Diplomat Country Club; the General Manager at the Golf Club at Mansion Ridge in Monroe, New York; and the Grand Traverse Golf Resort. Currently, Harold is the Vice President and the General Manager of Boomtown Casino here in New Orleans.
As a player, Harold played in the Utah Open in 1996 and on the Western States Golf Tour in the early 1990s and was the Doral Pepsi Pro-Am winner in 1998. Harold married his wife, Angie, in 2000 and currently has two daughters attending Newman.
